IT Field Engineer – Lincolnshire (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to provide on‑site support across multiple sites in the North of England. Based in Gainsborough, you will work within a growing IT department, ensuring the continuity, reliability and security of the company’s IT services. Hybrid working is available after an initial training period.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support endpoint devices, computers and servers across all locations.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Ensure IT service continuity and reliability, with a strong focus on security.
• Travel to sites such as Spalding, Louth and Burnley as required.
• Collaborate with the IT team on projects and security initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Experience delivering IT projects and solving technical problems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, networking protocols and cyber‑security best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Windows Server.
• Previous field engineering experience is advantageous.
