IT Financial Operations Manager

About the role

The IT Financial Operations Manager will act as the operational engine for the IT leadership team, ensuring financial precision and seamless execution across IT, Corporate Finance and Executive Operations. The role focuses on embedding a digital and AI‑first mindset to automate processes and deliver actionable insights to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end IT purchase order, invoicing and financial administration cycles, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as primary escalation point for financial and vendor discrepancies, leading investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with IT Finance on coding, reporting alignment, year‑end accruals and budget structuring.
• Drive shared‑service support for supplier management, performance monitoring and compliance governance.
• Identify and implement AI‑enabled tools to automate manual tasks and enhance analytical reporting.
• Produce monthly and quarterly performance dashboards, budget trackers and PO metrics for IT leadership.
• Prepare agendas, packs and diary support for Group IT Executive meetings and the Chief Data Officer.
• Design and deliver onboarding and system training, including CODA approval workflows, and manage contractor onboarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT purchase order management, budgeting, forecasting and invoice reconciliation.
• Strong background in enforcing internal financial controls and vendor compliance.
• Ability to translate data into clear, executive‑level insights.
• Experience supporting senior IT leadership and coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
