IT Hardware Asset Management Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented IT Hardware Asset Management Analyst to join a large‑scale enterprise environment in London. You will own the full hardware lifecycle—from procurement and deployment to refresh and certified e‑waste disposal—while ensuring the ServiceNow CMDB remains accurate and audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hardware assets from purchase order through tagging, deployment, refresh cycles and certified disposal.
• Maintain and reconcile asset data across ServiceNow CMDB, Flexera and discovery tools to guarantee data integrity.
• Collaborate with department heads and business owners to enforce asset policies and recover aging hardware.
• Track purchase orders, vendor deliveries, warranties, end‑of‑life timelines and contract terms.
• Produce compliance reports and inventory analyses using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Required profile

• Several years of experience in IT Hardware Asset Management or IT Service Transition within an enterprise.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Hands‑on experience updating asset states and resolving discrepancies in ServiceNow CMDB.
• Comprehensive understanding of the hardware lifecycle from receipt to disposal.
• Proficiency with Excel for multi‑source data reconciliation.

What we offer

• £200 per day (Inside IR35) or £40,000 per annum.
• 1‑year contract, full‑time onsite (8 am – 5 pm).
