IT Helpdesk Support – 1st & 2nd Line

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Helpdesk Support professional to deliver 1st and 2nd line technical assistance across our busy London office and regional sites. Reporting to the IT Lead, you will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software and network services while supporting new office openings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software and network issues via the help‑desk ticket system.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, peripherals and network equipment.
• Assist with software and operating system rollouts and routine system updates.
• Support key IT projects such as hardware upgrades and new network installations.
• Travel to Suffolk as needed to help set up a new regional office.
• Document support activities, troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Provide remote assistance to the IT Lead when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and OneDrive administration.
• Strong hardware, software and basic network troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to Suffolk for project support.
• Construction or field‑services experience is a plus but not essential.
