IT Infrastructure Engineer (London)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our small, collaborative team in London. This permanent role offers long‑term stability and the chance to influence the way our internal IT services are delivered across desktop, server and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop support for Windows 11 workstations.
• Administer Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
• Manage cloud services in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Participate in infrastructure projects such as server upgrades, cloud transformation, Wi‑Fi improvements and network hardware refreshes.
• Work alongside an external Managed Service Provider while also handling independent tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT infrastructure or support engineering.
• Comfortable working in a small company and contributing across multiple areas.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• History of permanent roles or long‑term contracts demonstrating stability.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2019/2022) and Windows 11.
• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Linux – Ubuntu (24.02 preferred).
• Networking, virtualization and Identity & Access Management.
• Infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Cisco CCNP (preferred).
• Azure Security Engineer certification (preferred).
