IT Infrastructure Specialist (Hybrid, London)

About the role

A growing international business is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to maintain, secure and modernise a complex infrastructure estate spanning cloud and on‑premise environments. You will work closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure and contribute to a range of improvement projects that support continued business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Administer Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Own endpoint management through Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration records.
• Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning, including patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening.
• Ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient and highly available.
• Assist cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
• Drive improvements in performance, security and operational efficiency.
• Act as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents and problem management.

Required profile

• Proven experience with modern infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong background in Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery and ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Exposure to multi‑site environments or enterprise networking and security is advantageous.
