IT Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead both day‑to‑day IT support and the long‑term technology strategy for a growing multi‑site organisation. This hybrid role (four days in the office, one day remote) offers the chance to be hands‑on while shaping the future of the company’s IT function.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support across multiple UK locations.
• Manage and improve IT systems, infrastructure, and technology processes.
• Drive cyber‑security initiatives and embed best practices throughout the business.
• Work with external IT providers while planning the transition of services in‑house.
• Lead IT projects that enhance efficiency, performance and user experience.
• Oversee hardware, software, licences and IT asset management.
• Assess, recommend and implement new technologies to support growth.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and documentation.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an IT Manager, IT Lead or Senior IT Support professional.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and network infrastructure.
• Excellent cyber‑security expertise (essential).
• Experience supporting a multi‑site business.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Effective communicator with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Confidence engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Experience managing third‑party IT providers.

What we offer

• Salary range £35,000‑£45,000 per annum
