IT Network Support L2 – MDM Specialist (Mac)

About the role

This is a 2nd line IT Network Support position focused on Mobile Device Management (MDM) for a retail client. You will specialise in Airwatch/Workspace ONE to manage a large fleet of iOS devices and provide broader support for in‑store digital services across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and secure over 2,500 iOS devices using Airwatch (VMware Workspace ONE), including app signing, certificate maintenance and software updates.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support for the retail digital ecosystem, covering Meraki Wi‑Fi, digital signage CMS, in‑store audio and online booking services.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot network and telecom services, handle IP addressing and enforce Wi‑Fi security best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, run compliance reports and apply change‑management procedures to ensure zero disruption to store operations.
• Support macOS and Windows 10/11 environments as part of the broader technical support remit.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Airwatch/Workspace ONE or similar MDM platforms.
• Deep knowledge of the Apple iOS ecosystem, including app signing and certificate management.
• Solid background in macOS and Windows 10/11 support.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and Wi‑Fi security; Meraki experience is a strong plus.
• Experience in a retail IT environment and awareness of PCI‑DSS, GDPR and PII compliance standards.
• ITIL V3/V4 certification is desirable.
