IT Procurement Officer – London

About the role

Crédit Agricole CIB is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Officer to lead technology sourcing for its London operations. This senior‑level position sits within the bank’s procurement function and plays a key role in supporting the digital transformation agenda while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement of software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity, data‑centre and networking solutions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and road‑maps in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts with technology vendors, securing optimal commercial terms and risk protections.
• Drive cost‑optimisation initiatives and identify consolidation opportunities across the IT category.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks such as FCA, PRA, DORA and EBA.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Risk and Information Security on vendor due diligence and onboarding.
• Present detailed financial and procurement analysis to senior audiences and support governance committees.

Required profile

• Proven IT procurement experience in a regulated financial services or banking environment.
• Strong track record in commercial and regulatory contract negotiation.
• Experience managing full RFX processes for technology spend.
• Deep knowledge of procurement processes, commercial law and supplier agreement best practices.
• Exceptional analytical ability and clear communication skills for varied audiences.
