About the role

A full-time, permanent IT Procurement Specialist position in the Financial Services sector, advertised by 1st Executive. The role supports procurement transformation within a growth-mode procurement function, influencing stakeholders and driving measurable performance improvements. It is based in the Bradford or Leeds office with hybrid working (three days a week in the office).

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead sourcing projects, primarily across the IT category.
• Proactively seek and drive new commercial opportunities.
• Influence stakeholders and drive spend analytics and performance insights.
• Influence supplier strategies.

Required profile

• Procurement experience in any category.
• Degree-educated candidate.
• Applicants must be based in the UK to commit to the hybrid working arrangement and hold current, valid UK right to work.

Required skills

• Negotiation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Knowledge of sourcing principles and supplier management.
• Confident communicator with an engaging personality and inquisitive nature, keen to develop skills further.
