IT Programme Director

About the role

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced IT Programme Director to drive a major technology, data and digital transformation programme. Working closely with executive leadership, you will define a new Target Operating Model and ensure the successful delivery of a complex change agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large‑scale technology, data and digital transformation programme.
• Design, assess and implement Target Operating Models.
• Build and lead programme teams comprising internal resources and external partners.
• Manage third‑party suppliers and delivery partners.
• Establish and maintain effective programme governance, reporting and risk management.
• Develop programme plans, budgets, financial controls and business cases.
• Provide clear communication to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment across multiple business functions.

Required profile

• Proven track record leading complex enterprise transformation programmes.
• Significant experience designing and implementing Target Operating Models.
• Strong background in technology, data and digital transformation.
• Expertise in programme governance, risk management and delivery assurance.
• Strong financial management, budgeting and business‑case experience.
• Experience influencing C‑suite and executive‑level stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to delivery.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and influencing capabilities.
• Collaborative, pragmatic and outcome‑focused, comfortable in complex environments.
