IT Programme Manager – Remote (Up to £70k)

About the role

The IT Programme Manager will lead the planning, design and delivery of strategic IT programmes across the organisation. Working remotely, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while keeping senior stakeholders informed.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design IT programmes and projects, establishing governance structures.
• Monitor progress, track issues, manage risks and resolve them throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Forecast and manage budgets and resources for each project.
• Manage third‑party deliverables and contractual relationships.
• Produce regular status reports for stakeholders and steering committees.
• Lead a small team of project managers, business analysts and product owners.
• Contribute to the development of the Change Management function.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering complex IT change programmes.
• Proven ability to run senior stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers.
• Background in financial services is desirable.
• Strong leadership and change‑management capabilities.
