IT Project Manager – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

Oscar Technology is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join its collaborative technology team in Manchester. You will lead a varied portfolio of IT and digital transformation projects, guiding them from concept through to successful delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to deployment and handover.
• Coordinate delivery of software, infrastructure, and business system projects.
• Produce and maintain schedules, risk registers, governance documents, and status reports.
• Track progress, budgets, resources, and milestones, proactively resolving issues.
• Promote Agile delivery practices, supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Build strong relationships with business users, technical teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, change requests, and release planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering IT projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Organisational and leadership abilities with a proactive problem‑solving approach.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps (or similar Agile/project management platform).
• Salesforce CRM project experience.
