IT Project Manager – Oxford

About the role

Our client in Oxford is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a fast‑growing technology team. You will drive business‑critical IT infrastructure and systems projects from concept to delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of IT infrastructure and technical projects.
• Develop detailed project plans covering objectives, milestones, owners, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate work across infrastructure, systems, platforms and internal technology services.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, blockers and issues early and take corrective action.
• Produce clear reporting for senior stakeholders on progress, priorities and decisions.
• Document projects fully and transition them into operational support.
• Help establish and maintain project management standards, documentation and governance across the IT function.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, security, operations and wider business teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering IT infrastructure or technical projects.
• Comfortable working with highly technical teams and translating technical discussions into actionable plans.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies.
