IT QA Lead – Trade & Transaction Reporting (AVP)

About the role

This contract role is for an IT QA Lead focused on Trade & Transaction Reporting within a leading international bank in the City of London. Working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), you will drive quality assurance for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end QA testing for MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR and Prudential Reporting.
• Own regression test strategy, create and maintain test packs using Jira, Xray and Confluence.
• Perform data analysis, validation and root‑cause analysis for reporting issues.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Operations, Compliance and Front‑Office teams.
• Manage test environments, test data and automation readiness.
• Track, document and drive defect resolution.
• Mentor junior QA analysts and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven test‑lead experience in Trade & Transaction Reporting (TTR/PTTR).
• Strong knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR and related regulatory frameworks.
• Experience across FX, IR, Credit and Commodities asset classes.
• Hands‑on experience with reconciliation tools such as DUCO and IntelliMatch.
• Familiarity with DTCC, RHUB, Kaizen and major trading platforms (Murex, Summit, Bloomberg, MarkitWire, PRISM, FOX, OBS).

What we offer

• Hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
• Fixed‑term contract until March 2027.
• Daily rate of £405‑£676 via Umbrella.
