IT Repair Technician – Swindon

About the role

We are looking for an IT Repair Technician to join our client’s team in Swindon. You will be responsible for configuring, diagnosing and repairing a variety of devices including Chromebooks, laptops, tablets and smartphones. The role works Monday‑Friday 08:30‑16:30 with the possibility of overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Configure new devices and install required software.
• Perform repair assessments, identify faults and devise a plan of action.
• Replace or fit new components to restore functionality.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets operational standards.
• Document repairs and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hardware repair or a strong willingness to learn (training provided).
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with multiple operating systems.
