IT & Security Manager

About the role

Magdrive is seeking an experienced IT & Security Manager to own the end‑to‑end IT and cybersecurity function. This hands‑on position ensures that all systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with the company’s rapid growth in spacecraft propulsion technology.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and optimise Microsoft 365 and Teams, including onboarding, access, licensing and governance.
• Administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations across office, lab and remote environments, providing technical support and maintaining documentation.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives, risk assessments, incident response, and data‑governance policies.
• Audit, manage and procure external IT and security consultants, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Drive internal IT and security projects such as upgrades, migrations and infrastructure expansion for new facilities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience managing Microsoft 365, Teams and Atlassian suites.
• Proven track record in IT operations, service delivery and technical support.
• Strong background in cybersecurity controls, risk management and data governance.
• Ability to coordinate with external vendors and lead cross‑functional projects.
• Willingness to work on‑site with 1‑2 days remote per week.
