IT Service Desk Technician – Band 3

About the role

This permanent position is for an IT Service Desk Technician (Band 3) supporting Bolton Hospital. You will be the first point of contact for all IT issues, delivering excellent customer service and first‑time fixes in a fast‑moving NHS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer‑focused service as the initial contact for all Bolton Hospital IT queries.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems and aim for first‑time resolution.
• Support end‑users on the front line, delivering timely fixes and guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Trust’s IT infrastructure.
