IT Service Technician 1st Line (Middle Eastern Hours)

About the role

Inspired Online Schools needs an IT Support Technician to expand its IT department in a broad and varied position. You will join an expanding team with a hands-on approach, supporting 400+ remote employees and 8,000+ students while taking part in other IT-related tasks. The role works to Middle-Eastern (GST) hours, which is typically 6am-3pm in UK time.

Key responsibilities

• Log, prioritise and resolve user requests, using time management to handle the workload effectively
• Manage IT assets and perform remote hardware diagnosis
• Support 400+ employees and 8,000+ students remotely
• Support software packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect
• Escalate and liaise support queries with internal Inspired IT or with external third-party companies

Required profile

• Previous experience providing IT support (essential)
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems methodically and logically
• Good administration and clerical skills for updating records
• Empathetic with users, able to deal with people calmly and manage customer expectations
• Able to build professional relationships with customers and suppliers and to share knowledge with colleagues
