IT Site Technician - Schools

About the role

We are seeking an IT Site Technician to provide first and second line support to schools within a forward‑thinking trust. You will work on‑site in Camberley, collaborating with the IT Lead and other teams to keep IT systems running smoothly for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service desk tickets within agreed timeframes.
• Support installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
• Monitor and maintain hardware, performing basic repairs as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues to minimise disruption.
• Contribute to the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
• Promote safe and secure IT use and support safeguarding compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in first or second line IT support.
• Exposure to supporting educational establishments (schools, colleges, academy trusts) either directly or via an MSP.
• Motivation to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work on‑site full time.
