IT & Software Business Analyst – COTS Software

About the role

We are seeking an IT & Software Business Analyst to join a large‑scale professional services organisation in Leeds. The role will support a major IT transformation programme, implementing off‑the‑shelf software solutions and improving the way the business works and delivers to customers. It offers a hybrid working model with both office and home‑based days.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end analysis for COTS software implementation projects.
• Shape project direction and take ownership of outcomes.
• Own and lead testing phases of software deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Support integration of CRM, ERP and other business applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst focused on software implementation and integration.
• Strong background implementing off‑the‑shelf (COTS) products such as CRM or ERP systems.
• Experience leading analysis and testing activities on complex projects.
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches.
• Experience working within large, complex organisations is advantageous.
