IT Support Assistant – Desktop & Network Support (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Assistant to provide first‑line desktop and network assistance for approximately 450 users across 23 UK locations. The role combines on‑site installation, hardware repair and remote support within a Windows environment, working part‑time in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop support via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Install and configure company software such as Wareflow, SAP, Microsoft Office and design applications.
• Set up new users and PCs, including mobile phones, tablets and iPads.
• Administer Windows Server services – Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Maintain backup systems and manage SAP accounts.
• Repair or replace PCs, peripherals, printers and other hardware.
• Liaise with third‑party suppliers for CCTV, email, design software and external IT services.
• Support internal departments with CRM, SAP, Wareflow and design tools.
• Administer telephony systems, company mobiles and handheld devices.
• Manage network infrastructure, firewalls and internet connections.
• Serve as first point of contact for antivirus issues, video‑conference systems and related queries.
