IT Support Engineer – 2‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a well‑established UK organisation that is rolling out a new email structure across all sites. This short‑term, project‑focused contract lasts two months and is ideal for a candidate with 12‑18 months of support experience who can work independently and communicate clearly with non‑technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Rename existing store email accounts and apply standard naming conventions.
• Create approximately 300 new user mailboxes in Exchange Online.
• Assist users with login, setup and access issues, providing phone support and guiding store teams through onboarding.
• Perform light administrative tasks in Business Central (training provided).
• Support the wider IT team with additional small tasks when the project is ahead of schedule.

Required profile

• 12‑18 months of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft technologies and supporting non‑technical end users.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Clear verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Active Directory – user creation, password resets, account changes.
• Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online – mailbox creation and basic licensing.
• Business Central – basic administrative functions.
