IT Support Engineer – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Engineer to join AccessPay’s internal IT team in Manchester. Working hybrid (four days onsite), you will ensure our internal systems, devices and infrastructure remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose while delivering high‑quality technical support to colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software, networking and endpoint issues.
• Manage the joiner, mover and leaver process, including device builds, user accounts and access permissions.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and other internal business systems.
• Maintain company devices, software licences and IT assets, ensuring security and compliance.
• Document tickets, maintain accurate records and support internal audits and compliance activities.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude AI, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to identify automation opportunities and improve productivity.

Required profile

• Experience working in an internal IT support or service‑desk environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities across hardware, software and networking.
• Excellent communication skills for supporting both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Proactive, well‑organised and a genuine passion for technology and continuous learning.
