IT Support Technician – 1st/2nd Line Support

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join the growing Central London office of a leading global social media platform. You will be part of a small on‑site team, collaborating with colleagues across EMEA and the Middle East to ensure reliable IT service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Mac OS, Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365 and a range of digital workspace tools (Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace, storage, AV and video‑conferencing).
• Clear ticket backlogs, analyse issues, follow up with end users and escalate when necessary, always meeting SLA targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with third‑party hardware and software vendors.
• Document procedures and solutions to build a knowledge base.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an IT support or service‑desk role.
• Proven ability to support both Mac and Windows environments.
• Experience with MDM solutions such as JAMF, Intune or Airwatch.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian tools, Slack or Jira.
• Excellent client‑facing and problem‑solving skills.

What we offer

• 12‑month rolling contract (inside IR35) with the possibility of extension.
• £200 per day rate plus paid public holidays.
• Five days on‑site work near Farringdon station, Monday‑Friday standard business hours.
