IT Support Technician – Desktop & Mobile Devices

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to deliver deskside, OSS and FSO technical support across a range of devices including PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, telephony and AV equipment. The role involves travelling to remote sites and providing high‑level customer service while meeting defined service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside, remote and on‑site technical support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones and related peripherals.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10 & 11 operating systems and associated drivers.
• Deploy, redeploy and maintain OS images on legacy hardware (e.g., Win10, Win7).
• Perform virtual desktop activities such as capacity planning, provisioning, image maintenance and incident coordination.
• Monitor device health (DEX), conduct routine technology health checks and remediate issues.
• Support mobile device management including persona management, device enrollment, OS maintenance and firmware updates.
• Execute semi‑annual tests and validation for Code Blue emergency safety features in vehicles.
• Deliver Smart Hands services both remotely and on‑site as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 + years of relevant IT support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in the local language.
• Ability to travel to remote locations and work independently while adhering to SLAs.
• Commitment to high customer satisfaction and professional standards.

Required skills

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 OS build, support and imaging.
• Legacy OS deployment (Win7, Win10).
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) provisioning and management.
• Device health monitoring (DEX) and routine health checks.
• OS update and currency maintenance processes.
• Code Blue emergency safety feature testing.
• Smart Hands remote/on‑site technical services.
• Mobile device management: persona management, device enrollment, OS maintenance, DFU.
