IT System Specialist – Enterprise Integration & API Architecture

About the role

Join a premium global brand as an IT System Specialist, driving the design and delivery of end‑to‑end integration solutions across Retail, E‑Commerce, Logistics and Finance. You will act as the strategic owner of the core EMEA enterprise applications, ensuring a secure, API‑first ecosystem that can absorb future digital innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor robust integration streams between SAP and non‑SAP applications, as well as direct connections between e‑commerce, POS, CRM and marketplace platforms.
• Architect flexible data pathways to onboard new retail store systems and future‑state applications.
• Enforce a modern API‑driven architecture using REST and SOAP, and optimise middleware layers such as SAP CPI or API gateways.
• Guarantee enterprise‑grade security for all data exchanges, applying OAuth, tokenisation and encryption.
• Collaborate with global IT architecture teams, business stakeholders and third‑party vendors to manage SLAs and governance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in enterprise system integration, preferably within a retail or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to bridge business requirements with technical architecture across multiple regions.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance standards for data and payment transactions.
