IT Systems Manager – Birkenhead (On‑Site, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Systems Manager to lead the IT operations for a client based in Birkenhead. The role covers multiple sites across Cheshire, Warrington and the Wirral, providing both strategic oversight and hands‑on support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure across all locations.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support and act as escalation point for the 1st Line Support Engineer.
• Administer Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems and Office 365.
• Maintain hardware assets such as phones, printers and other peripherals.
• Travel to satellite sites as required to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑site IT environments.
• Strong background with Microsoft tech stack.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
