IT Technical Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client is an award‑winning support services organisation delivering infrastructure, construction and facilities management for a large portfolio of government assets, including a major PFI contract for the UK Armed Forces. Based in Tidworth, the role sits within the central business services function, supporting the Head of IT in shaping strategy and delivering secure, cost‑effective technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect and deliver secure, cost‑effective technology solutions aligned to business needs.
• Manage IT infrastructure, platforms, connectivity and cloud services to ensure availability, performance and security.
• Act as project and change manager, overseeing delivery best practices and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
• Manage third‑party suppliers and service partners to guarantee value, security and contractual compliance.
• Lead major incident response, disaster recovery, vulnerability management and continual service improvement.

Required profile

• ITIL awareness and a Microsoft certification.
• Strong technical expertise combined with project‑management experience.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, deliver measurable business benefits and support infrastructure, service and security domains.
