IT Technician – 1st Line Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Technician to join a fast‑growing, technology‑led team in Newcastle. As a 1st Line IT Support Analyst you will be the first point of contact for a large user base, working within a modern Microsoft environment and gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for Windows, Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
• Manage user accounts and devices via Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Build, deploy and maintain laptops and other end‑user devices.
• Support meeting‑room and AV equipment.
• Prioritise and resolve service‑desk tickets, escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to documentation and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Intune, Entra ID or Azure environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer‑service skills.
• Hands‑on experience supporting hardware and end‑user devices.
