IT/Computing Lecturer (Further Education)

About the role

We are seeking an IT/Computing Lecturer to join our further‑education network across West London. The role can be undertaken on a part‑time or full‑time basis and is temporary, offering a competitive hourly rate of £30‑£40 including holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging IT and Computing lessons to learners aged 16‑19 and apprentices.
• Assess student work, provide feedback and support progression.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage challenging behaviour.
• Collaborate with college staff to ensure curriculum standards are met.

Required profile

• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in IT/Computing.
• Teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, PGCE or equivalent.
• Assessors’ qualification (A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, IQA) is desirable.
• Experience working with 16‑19‑year‑olds or apprentices.
• Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
