Jewellery Merchandiser

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading British multinational jeweller in central London. The Merchandiser will support assortment planning, stock allocation and inventory management across the retail network, providing data‑driven insights to maximise sales potential.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of assortment strategies and stock allocation across regions.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Partners to implement replenishment plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively rebalance stock to avoid stockouts or overstock.
• Use sales data and historical performance to inform allocation decisions.
• Assist in developing allocation frameworks, including size distributions.
• Provide daily operational support to stores – handling stock requests, coordinating deliveries and managing inquiries.
• Track weekly and monthly sales and stock performance by region/store and deliver insights.
• Coordinate regional shipments with shipping, quality control and other teams.
• Support regional pricing updates and maintain product passports.
• Prepare presentations for business reviews and assortment mapping.
• Contribute to additional merchandising projects and ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant experience, preferably in jewellery or luxury retail.
• Strong analytical ability with a keen eye for detail and numerical accuracy.
• Self‑motivated, curious and able to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Passion for jewellery; gemstone knowledge is a plus.
