Job Coach – SEND (Halifax & Bradford)

About the role

Reed Further Education is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to work with learners with SEND across Halifax and Bradford. The role focuses on building employability, confidence and independence, helping learners transition into sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Support learners on work placements and related activities.
• Deliver workplace coaching to develop employability skills.
• Monitor learner progress and liaise with employers to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide pastoral support and promote wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and meet safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Develop and nurture relationships with employers to create meaningful opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people or adults with SEND.
• Background in Further Education, supported employment or specialist provision.
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship‑building abilities.
• Minimum Level 2 Maths and English qualifications.
