Joiner – Construction & Maintenance Role

About the role

This is a full‑time Joiner position based in Salford, offering a competitive salary of £32,997 plus up to £4,000 bonus. You will work on a variety of joinery tasks across residential and commercial properties, supporting the maintenance and refurbishment programmes of Liberty Group.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, renew and fit roofing trusses, soffits, fascia and barge boards.
• Carry out repairs and replacements on ceiling and floor joists, stairs, stud work and partition walls.
• Install and maintain doors, door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panels.
• Fit kitchen units, worktops and decorative finishes.
• Repair or replace ironmongery, timber and UPVC window frames, and reglaze timber fencing and gates.
• Maintain vehicle stock and ensure tools are ready for use.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Joinery.
• Experience as a Joiner, preferably within a social housing environment.
• Ability to work on domestic, commercial and high‑rise properties, including confined spaces.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• CSCS card holder with asbestos awareness training and personal tools.
