Joinery Manager – Bespoke Kitchens & Furniture

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Manager to lead a growing workshop that specialises in bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture. You will own the day‑to‑day operations, drive production efficiency and support the company’s ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all workshop activities, ensuring schedules and deadlines are met.
• Lead and develop joiners, machinists, apprentices and subcontractors.
• Maintain high‑quality standards across all bespoke projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD production files to guide manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Directors on production planning, new machinery investment and business expansion.

Required profile

• Background in bespoke joinery, cabinetry, fitted furniture or kitchen manufacturing.
• Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Production Manager or similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of cabinet construction and workshop workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
• Organised, proactive and quality‑focused with a desire for long‑term progression.
