Junior Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Application Developer to join an innovative technology business ahead of the launch of a new software platform for the architecture and building design sector. The role offers a unique chance to work closely with the development team during the final stages of product creation, gaining deep knowledge of the application before it goes live.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team during the final development phase.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the application’s functionality, architecture and codebase.
• Assist with testing, validation and quality assurance activities.
• Investigate and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
• Provide application support after launch.
• Develop new features and enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools as part of the software development process.
• Contribute to future AI‑powered functionality within the platform.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and propose effective technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing product improvements.
• Work with colleagues to shape future releases of the application.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Enthusiasm for learning modern AI‑assisted development tools.
