Junior Application Support Analyst – French Speaker

About the role

Quanteam UK is seeking a Junior Application Support Analyst who is fluent in French to join its Front Office Application & Production Support team in London. The role provides day‑to‑day production support for the global FX, Rates, eCommerce and Credit eTrading platforms, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution for traders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop functionality for the Commodities Derivatives Platform.
• Maintain platform stability by testing releases and assessing impact.
• Follow release control, code review, deployment, source code management and architectural governance procedures.
• Own end‑to‑end management of P1/P2 incidents and problems, logging details and communicating status to users and management.
• Diagnose issues, determine root cause and coordinate task forces for critical incidents.
• Monitor application health to meet a 99.9% uptime target across the Rates and Credit eTrading platform.
• Support production implementation, troubleshooting and monitoring of market connectivity, algorithmic trading, pricing and booking components.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a Computer Science or related degree.
• Strong logical thinking and a positive mindset for supporting front‑office traders.
• Fluent in French and able to communicate effectively with internal users.

Required skills

• Experience with the ION platform.
• Knowledge of algorithmic trading and straight‑through processing (STP).
• Familiarity with release control, code review and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in source code management and architectural governance.
• Incident management and application monitoring capabilities.
