Junior Bookkeeper – People-led Independent Firm

About the role
Our client is an independent chartered accountancy practice that supports SMEs and owner‑managed businesses. They are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join a supportive, high‑performing team and deliver outsourced bookkeeping services to a loyal client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Complete account and bank reconciliations.
- Post PAYE journals.
- Provide full bookkeeping services for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months of bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or a similar environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts.
- Enjoy variety, client interaction, and working as part of a high‑performing team.

- QuickBooks
- Xero
- Sage
