Junior Business Development Executive – Waste Management Services

About the role

We are a fast‑growing waste management and environmental services company seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Executive to join our sales team at Gatwick. This entry‑level position offers a solid foundation in sales, business development and the sustainability sector, with full training and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and contact businesses via phone, email and social media.
• Identify customer waste‑management needs and present appropriate solutions.
• Generate, qualify and hand over sales leads to senior colleagues.
• Arrange appointments and support senior sales staff during meetings.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Follow up on quotations and track sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the company CRM system.
• Meet individual activity and sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and organised.
• Attention to detail and good time‑management.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
