Junior Business Development Manager – Hybrid (London)

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends and generate new leads.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships aligned with their commercial objectives.
• Contribute to inbound lead strategies using e‑blasts, social media and website promotion.
• Upsell and resell to existing clients, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Maintain detailed CRM records of activities, feedback and pipeline.
• Collaborate with customer success, editorial and marketing teams on campaign design and tracking.

Required profile

• Experience in a B2B sales role, preferably media sales or exhibition/conference environments.
• Knowledge of the pharma/biotech sector is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing accounts.
• Strong consultative sales experience with ability to craft complex proposals.
• Quick learner of new sectors or technologies to build prospect trust.
• Collaborative mindset focused on client success.
• Excellent sales, customer focus and time‑management abilities.
