Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Cost Manager to join their construction team in Edenbridge, Kent. This entry‑level position offers full training and a clear pathway into cost management within the built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project costs by reviewing material and labour rates.
• Monitor and report expenditures, preparing detailed cost variance reports.
• Forecast future project costs using historical data and industry trends.
• Value vendor works, manage monthly payments and assist with cost‑request documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure costs align with market values.
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost updates and advise on financial matters.

Required profile

• Personable and confident with strong organisational abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and proactive, analytical mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of project commercial aspects.
