Junior Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst to join our growing credit risk function in a fast‑paced commercial environment. You will support the management of a major business portfolio by providing analytical, underwriting and administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day credit vetting and limit request handling.
• Prioritise and respond to queries in the credit risk inbox.
• Administer credit insurance policies, including withdrawals and limit adjustments.
• Monitor the security portfolio, conduct audits and review inactive accounts.
• Process security documentation and manage refund procedures.
• Review extended payment term requests and assist with SME underwriting activities.
• Provide daily financial and macro‑economic commentary to stakeholders.
• Produce reports and insights for senior management and credit committees.
• Collaborate with data, sales and finance teams on regulatory requests and credit priorities.

Required profile

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised with the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and eager to develop a career in credit risk.
