Junior Data Engineer – Azure (12‑month FTC)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a chance to join a fast‑growing legal‑sector client that is heavily investing in its data and technology function. You will own the design, build and support of modern data pipelines within an Azure Databricks Lakehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Support CI/CD implementation and enforce engineering best practices.
• Deploy and manage code across established development processes.
• Contribute to data engineering and data modelling activities.
• Apply DevOps principles throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads and upskill within the Databricks ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong capability in Python development.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, Databricks and PySpark.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles.
• Proactive, growth‑mindset attitude with good collaboration skills.
