Junior Design Engineer (SolidWorks)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience to join a specialist business that designs and supplies isolators for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. You will receive product training and work closely with the workshop to develop, review and update designs for manufacture.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, review and update SolidWorks models for manufacturing.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Support the development of specialist medical and pharmaceutical isolator equipment.
• Liaise with workshop teams to ensure designs are practical and production‑ready.
• Contribute to product and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Junior Product, Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer (or similar).
• SolidWorks experience with a mechanical or electrical background.
• Ability to commute to Thame.
• Motivation to develop within a stable Monday‑to‑Friday environment.
