Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

ZeroLight is seeking an enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer to join its cloud‑based 3D visualisation team. You will work alongside senior engineers, receive hands‑on training, and help manage the virtualised cloud infrastructure that powers automotive configuration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the management, maintenance, and monitoring of virtualised cloud platforms.
• Support web technologies and tools such as Linux, Windows Server, Nginx, HAProxy, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Deploy, scale, and maintain cloud services on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Help manage databases including SQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Collaborate to automate processes, maintain CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot basic infrastructure issues.
• Provide flexible support for out‑of‑hours incidents, with time off in lieu.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or junior candidate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Games Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in cloud software and a conceptual understanding of virtualization, server operating systems and Kubernetes.
• Foundational programming or scripting knowledge and a desire to develop these skills quickly.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and a proactive learning attitude.
