Junior eCommerce Data Analyst

About the role

As a Junior eCommerce Data Analyst you will generate insights, build reports and support optimisation initiatives for the Spurs Shop. Working with a brand‑new technology stack, you will help the club maximise online revenue and improve the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the eCommerce Strategy & Insights Manager to analyse performance and produce actionable dashboards.
• Communicate findings to cross‑functional stakeholders and support ad‑hoc data requests.
• Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement in the user journey.
• Align reporting with the Business Analytics team to ensure a cohesive message across the club.
• Liaise with web development and data consultancy teams to maintain and enhance event tracking.
• Participate in insight‑sharing sessions with analysts from other departments.
• Stay current with industry trends in user experience, advertising and technology.

Required profile

• 2:2 (or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Statistics or a related field, completed or on track for Summer 2026.
• Internship or graduate experience in analytics, insights, research, eCommerce or marketing.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Understanding of eCommerce principles, KPIs and the trade‑offs between traffic quantity, conversion rates and average order value.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, complex formulas).
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce or Shopify.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 or Mixpanel.
• Fundamental statistics knowledge – interpreting coefficients, p‑values and confidence intervals.
