Junior Electrical Engineer (Commercial / Renewables)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to develop expertise in commercial and renewable projects. You will join a fast‑growing property services provider delivering maintenance, compliance, installation and facilities management across residential and commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and reactive repairs on site.
• Perform PAT testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
• Assist with rewiring projects and solar PV installations for both commercial and residential clients.
• Support the Electrical Team Lead and collaborate with other departments to ensure safe, compliant work.
• Work autonomously on small tasks and as part of a team on larger projects.

Required profile

• Qualified Junior Electrical Engineer holding BS 7671 Part 2391 and 18th Edition certifications.
• Willingness to travel within a 45‑minute radius of Cambridge.
• Motivation to progress to a Lead Engineer role within 18 months.
