Junior Electrical Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our established electrical contracting team in Guildford. Working closely with the Senior Electrical Estimator, you will gain hands‑on experience across commercial, domestic and industrial projects throughout the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications.
• Communicate with existing and prospective clients during the tender process.
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑off sheets and material costing sheets.
• Collect and verify costs from the supply chain.
• Assist in producing accurate electrical and supply‑chain cost estimates.

Required profile

• Some experience in electrical estimating or a strong interest in developing in this field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
