Junior Electrician – NVQ Level 3 – £40k + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to join a historic, fast‑growing organisation. You will receive full on‑site training and work across a 400‑acre site that blends historic and modern buildings, maintaining a variety of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC units, fire alarm systems, smart building systems and standby generators.
• Perform routine inspections and corrective work on electrical equipment.
• Work on‑site Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:00 and Friday 08:00‑15:30.
• Overtime paid at 1.5× the standard rate.

Required profile

• Junior Electrician with a minimum NVQ Level 3.
• Motivated to develop technical expertise and progress to a supervisory role.
• Willing to work on‑site in Cambridge and adapt to varied tasks each day.

Required skills

• HVAC system maintenance.
