Junior Finance Analyst

About the role

Our client, a growing multi‑site business in South East England, is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join the finance team. This role is ideal for an early‑career professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems and improving processes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce regular financial and operational reports to support decision‑making and analyse business performance, trends and key metrics.
• Assist with monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance investigation.
• Develop dashboards and management information for stakeholders across the business.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities, supporting automation and reporting projects.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
• Work closely with the Management Accountant on finance and business‑improvement initiatives and provide ad‑hoc analysis for the wider finance team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in finance, administration, data analysis or a business support role.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage own workload.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
